Tomb Raider : Underworld

Tomb Raider Underworld is the next addition to the popular action-adventure series, which will be set during the events of the seventh episode of Legend. It will revolve around the ancient Mayan calendar, and will primarily take a look at Mexico. As is the fashion nowadays, the developers (who, by the way, as with Legend and Anniversary, remain Crystal Dynamics) want to focus on bringing Lara's world to life and making it interactive, so that players really get the impression that this is a battle of an "ordinary" woman against the wild. For example, Lara will leave footprints in the mud, but if it rains, they'll wash away again after a while. Bodies of dead enemies will be left where they left off, as will debris from any destroyed objects. The developers also promise a dynamic weather system, for which they will use the latest techniques and graphical effects.
