Still Life

Description of PC Still Life: Victoria McPherson is an FBI agent investigating a serial murder case. The number of victims has so far stopped at five, and Victoria still has no proper leads, just a series of circumstantial evidence and a boss breathing down her neck. To give herself a break, she visits her father in the suburbs. Since it's before Christmas, she talks to her father about her family and especially her grandfather, who was a private investigator. Victoria reads through one of her grandfather's old cases and discovers many similarities to her current Chicago homicide case in a seventy-five year old case file from Europe.
