Our hero, the nobleman Samuel Gordon, returns after many years to his estate in England, where he has lived most of his former life. Memories of events long past have kept him from returning for twelve long years, so he has long since given up everything in his ancestral manor. He firmly hoped that he would never again have to return to the places that would replay the dark images of the past in his mind and tear his soul apart with the hot knife of guilt. He probably would have lived the rest of his life as far away from Black Mirror Manor as possible if it hadn't been for the fate that changed his future once and for all.

With uncertain feelings that grew stronger the closer he approached the boundaries of the estate, he returns today to honour the memory of William Gordon, who meant so much to him. Perhaps that is why he is the only one who refuses to believe
that William's death was an unfortunate accident. So he begins to take an interest in his last days.
However, from William's diary and other clues, he soon learns that something else was behind his death. Against the backdrop of a seemingly peaceful life on the ancient Black Mirror estate, a cycle of mysterious deaths and unexpected events unfolds before him. What he doesn't yet realise is that he himself is a major part of it all...
