The Settlers II

The crew of a Roman ship visits a deserted island. A seemingly deserted island, that is. If the crew is to survive, they must plan smartly, as the ship's builders, foresters and explorers need food and building materials. Farming, cattle raising, hunting and fishing are necessary to meet the needs of the people. From the mines they get ore, coal and gold. But danger is near: the island territory must be protected by military forces.

Settlers II is an economic simulation that gives the player many different strategic choices. You must build a large and functioning settlement and defend it from attacks. But that's not the only task: your economy has to work. Goods need to be transported quickly along strategically built roads and well-placed buildings. The ultimate goal is to dominate the entire game map.

• The story unfolds in a single campaign consisting of 10 missions, as well as many free-to-play maps & a random map generator.
• The game provides a glimpse into a real world economy, goods transport & strategic choices with many different units & buildings:
• 3 playable nations to choose from: Romans, Nubians and Asians.
• 31 different buildings, 25 professions and 5 different military units for each nation.
• In total, 31 different types of goods.
• Very different environments: lava, snowy mountains, swamps and forests.
• Various multiplayer game modes.
