Sudden Strike III: Arms for Victory

The new game emphasizes fidelity to history, offering a host of new features and elements including simulated cooperation between armies, large-scale battles of up to several hundred units and destructible terrain, in addition to a brand-new presentation. Compared to previous installments, the AI of both enemy and friendly armies has been greatly improved, and there's also a detailed multi-level zoom that's useful if only for the sheer size of each map. The move to 3D from 2D graphics means no loss of graphical quality and visual appeal, as the game's engine is capable of creating a large yet detailed game environment filled with lots of objects, including realistic looking and behaving vegetation.
