Montax imposer Free

Montax imposer is a plugin for Adobe Acrobat versions 6 to XI (not Acrobat Reader). It is a tool for sheet mounting, placing the pages of a pdf document on one or more resulting sheets. It makes it faster and easier to print business cards, tickets, invitations, as well as newspapers, magazines and catalogs. It finds application in offset printing, prepress, copyshop, and is also useful for personal use.

Montax imposer allows you to discard pdfs in a variety of ways in no time. In addition to standard mounting, where pages are placed side by side on the sheet in the order they appear in the source pdf, it allows many other variations. The "Cut and Fold" type of assembly is designed for e.g. printing numbered tickets - after cutting the resulting sheets, just place the individual blocks on top of each other and the tickets will already be in the correct order.

Another type is the "Booklet" sheet assembly, where the last and first page of the printed material are side by side on the sheet, the second and penultimate page on the reverse side of the sheet, etc. The resulting sheets are folded in the middle and stapled together, e.g. with a staple. This assembly is intended for printing magazines, newspapers, books, etc. Montax imposer allows e.g. cross fold, double cross fold and many other mounting alternatives.
