The PDF-XChange Viewer software is a fast PDF viewer that is completely FREE for home and commercial use. It is a richly featured application that allows you to view and annotate the content of PDF documents in preview mode. It can also export PDFs to image formats (JPEG, TIFF, BMP). For safer viewing of PDF and PDF/A documents, there is a Data Execution Prevention (DEP) feature that prevents the execution of any malicious code in PDFs (spyware, malware, viruses, etc.).
However, unlike the commercial version PDF-XChange Viewer Pro, the Free version cannot create, edit, merge or sign PDFs with an electronic signature. You can also use the commercial version if you need to write text to a PDF and "hard-code" it into the document. In the commercial version, convenient editing of PDF documents is also available as part of the Beta version of the new PDF-XChange Editor product.
