A series of strange earthquakes destroys one city after another. Dr. Ambrose Ink is one of the most brilliant minds of the technological revolution, trying to discover the cause of this supernatural phenomenon.

His research takes him all the way to Hochwald: a small alpine town near the mysterious castle of the Barber family. However, shortly after his arrival there, he disappears without a trace.

It is then up to Inca's long-time friend and confidante, Agent Evangeline Glass, to rescue the doctor and find out what is causing the earthquakes. With the help of a mechanical raven, she must infiltrate the heavily guarded castle and take on the chief engineer of Gottland.

Agent Glass quickly realises that in these strange, turbulent times, humans aren't the only ones she has to be wary of...
