Cr OS Linux is a brand new free operating system based on openSUSE Linux.

This open source project provides a lightweight Linux distribution similar to Google Chrome OS for the best web browsing experience on any x86 PC, netbook or laptop.

This operating system does not need to be installed on a PC, just burn it to a DVD and boot the PC from it, then everything runs from RAM, so you can try the system and when you remove the DVD it will boot your operating system from the hard drive again.
