Note: this is a Release Candidate version of Windows 7, you cannot install any updates (attempting to update will result in error 0x80072ee7) or even Czech, it can be activated with a valid license, however we do not recommend using it as a full OS. The final Windows 7 cannot be made available for download this way according to Microsoft's terms and conditions.

The new version of the Windows 7 operating system brings a number of improvements to the final version, especially in the areas of security, greater efficiency and new ways to use your computer, applications and hardware devices.

Some of the most significant improvements and new features aimed at home and end users include:

• New user interface and new options for working with running applications.
• Faster system start, shutdown and wake from sleep.
• Greater battery life on mobile computers thanks to many system enhancements.
• New apps or improved versions of apps that Windows users are used to (Calculator, Sticky Notes, XPS Viewer and more).
• Built-in support for users to manage the system and resolve any issues (Action Center).
• The ability to create a simple home network and share content between computers and devices (HomeGroup).
• Easier working with other devices thanks to new system capabilities (Device and Printers Center, Device Stage).
• Accelerators, WebSlices and Visual Search areas in Internet Explorer 8 will allow users to reduce the time spent searching for desired information. In turn, new security features will increase user security against potential attacks while working on the Internet.
• Czech language recognition when using Tablet PC functionality.
• The ability to control the computer using multi-touch technology (depending on the type of computer).
