Body Mass Index

The program allows you to determine the degree of obesity or underweight.

It is calculated as weight in kilograms divided by the square of height in meters (kg/m2). This value is independent of age and gender, but has some limitations:

• growing children
• pregnant women
• very muscular individuals such as athletes. The weight category is determined according to the BMI table established by international institutions.

It is possible to calculate values using either the metric system (kilograms and centimeters) or the English (inch) system (pounds, feet and inches).

The application can be localized into different languages. The basic languages are Czech and English.
