VariCAD

VariCAD is a very powerful tool to bring your ideas to life. Designed to be highly interactive and easy to use, it makes design work easier and much faster. Its features cover the basic requirements of designers.
With the business philosophy of selling all modules as one package, the designer gets superior tools at the price of a basic module.

VariCAD's standard modules include 3D direct and parametric modeling, geometric constraints, 2D drawing, associative drafting, machine part libraries, symbol and block libraries, calculations, and numerous tools for working with non-graphical information (archive, stamps, BOMs, drawing file management, etc.). These and other tools allow designers to create, analyze and modify design concepts very quickly and without limitations.

VariCAD is also compiled for many Linux distributions - e.g. Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, etc. Individual Linux installation packages can be found directly on the manufacturer's website.

As of VariCAD 2021-2.0, the program works completely under OpenGL 4.0 or later versions. The new graphics allow for a clearer and more legible display of 2D objects and various auxiliary elements that are used both when working in 2D and when sketching in 3D.
