The Windows version (as opposed to the DOS version) offers more comfortable controls and better visual enjoyment. As for the algorithm used, it is the same for both versions. The options for setting up the game itself are also the same - three game types, computer game style, playing field size and more. Changing the settings can then be saved permanently. You can also save the games played.
