The Battle For Wesnoth

The Battle For Wesnoth is a strategy game. In the single-player game, fifteen campaigns can be played through, which are included in the game itself. The game contains a fairly strong artificial intelligence. A number of additional campaigns can be found on the internet directly in the game environment, and it is also possible to create your own campaigns using the map editor. The army consists of a variety of units - infantry, archers, cavalry, mages, heroes and more. Each has its own unique characteristics; the game uses a simple RPG system in which units gain experience during combat. Speed and combat ability is also affected by terrain and time of day. The only resource is gold, which is supplied by captured villages.
