The Welds program enables the design and design of welded joints of various types:

• rigid welds
• taper welds
• reinforcement welds

The joint can be loaded by tensile force, shear force and bending moment according to its nature. There are a number of connection schemes available - butt joint of webs, corner joint of webs by longitudinal or butt welds or a combination of both, overlap and butt joints of concrete reinforcement, concrete reinforcement to web contact, etc.

The program allows the selection between different strength classes of steel (37,52,...) and welding parameters (manual, automatic, with defectoscope control, etc.)

All assessments can be continuously entered into the document, a label can be added to each weld assessed, so that the printed document can contain multiple welds. As with Console or Beam, a custom print page format can be defined.
