SkytechX

SkytechX is an astronomical planetarium that displays realistic rendered planets in a map. It can show the position on the map in the range of years 1 - 3000. The Tycho2 catalog is used as the main star catalog with over 2.5 million bright stars. For non-stellar objects, a catalogue has been compiled from sources such as NGC, IC, PGC, Messier etc. and contains over 100,000 of these objects. It allows the telescope to be connected using the ASCOM6 platform. It can search for e.g. solar and lunar eclipses, planetary conjunctions, etc. within a specified interval. It displays overlay images in DSS-FITS format.
