Astrofotografické výpočty

Useful program designed for calculations of important characteristics of astronomical telescopes and other astrophotographic instruments.

The program contains the following groups of calculations:

• Telescope parameters - aperture, max. resolution. detail seen on the moon, magnification from focal lengths, magnification from objective and exit pupil diameter, theoretical and practical limiting magnitude, light gain, angular and linear diameter of Airy disk + secondary mirror lens shading settings (for Newtons).
• CCD chip parameters - angular magnification per pixel, field of view, optimum luminosity.
• Exposure times - for camera lens, binoculars, and for aphakic configuration, maximum exposure length for spot imaging.
• Luminosities of different configurations - binoculars (or also camera lens), aphakic configuration from camera parameters D, F, f; aphakic configuration from camera magnification, D, f.
• Fields of view of different configurations - camera, telescope, CCD chip.
• Pointing parameters - minimum magnification of the pointing eyepiece, maximum pointing error, pointing tolerance of the pointing eyepiece.
• Minimum magnification to resolve a double star.
• Dimensions of images on negative - dimension on negative p taken with telescope (camera), dimension on negative taken aphocally, path of star on unpointed photograph.
• Calculation of relative brightnesses.
