Segmentation Plugins

Segmentation Plugins is a package of plugins for 3DimViewer for manual and automatic segmentation of medical data and creation of polygonal models from segmented tissues.

Basic Features

• Panel for region management (color assignment, segment merging, etc.).
• Four drawing modes for manual segmentation: polygon, stroke, 2D flood-fill and 3D fill.
• Automatic segmentation by FCM (Fuzzy c-Means).
• Semi-automatic segmentation using GMM (Gaussian Mixture Model) classifier.
• Implemented two variants of Marching Cubes algorithm for polyg. model generation.
• Filtering small isolated parts of the model.
• Adjustable smoothing and decimation parameters of the model.
• Export polygonal model to STL format.
