3DimViewer

3DimViewer is a 3D viewer of medical image data in DICOM format. It is freeware, and its use for non-commercial, private and educational purposes is free of charge.

Basic Features:

• A real 3D viewer (if 3D data, why not view it three-dimensionally?).
• Displays perpendicular sections in the XY, XZ and YZ planes.
• Adjustable density window.
• Import (uncompressed) DICOM data.
• Data visualization via simple volume rendering.
• Tissue segmentation by thresholding.
• Creation of segmented tissue model by Marching Cubes algorithm.
• 3D display of the created model.
