Scribble

This game is called "SCRI*BBLE" as it is partially based on the popular SCRABBLE® game from Hasbro Inc. As you will notice, there are major differences between this game and the original SCRABBLE®.

The playing surface has a different setup. The letters are chosen randomly and are swapped each round. The values of the colored squares are counted only as individual letters. Additional points are not added for letters that are already on the main board. A bonus of 50 points is added for placing all 7 letters on the main board.

Press the START button at the start of the game and follow the instructions in the text table.

First, select the English or Czech version by clicking in the appropriate square. In the next version it will be possible to play the game in other languages. A dictionary is not included.

This game is designed for one or two players, so choose your name by clicking in the appropriate selection circle and then filling in the name in the table below. In a 2-player game, roll the dice to see who plays first. You are now ready to start the game.

To play, select the letter you intend to use by clicking and placing it in the appropriate square on the main board. At the beginning you must place the first letter in the middle of the H8 red square! Then you lay the other letters to form words in either a horizontal or vertical style. As in the original SCRABBLE® game, subsequent words must use some of the letters already on the main board.
