Rome: Total War - Barbarian Invasion

The Barbarian Invasion introduces a new campaign at a time when the Empire faces an almost impossible task. To stop the barbarian hordes from invading and to stop the internal political strife. Fast forward 350 years to 363 AD, when the Roman Empire is crumbling. To add to the problems, there is also the renewed threat of the Persian Empire.
Fortunately, you don't necessarily have to play as the Romans! Barbarian Invasion adds 10 new nations to play as and several more you'll have the chance to meet during the game. Each of these nations has an army made up of specific units, and the strategy used in battle depends on this. The Franks, for example, have fearsome warriors armed with throwing axes, the Huns are great on horseback, and the Persians are the only nation to use elephants in battle.
