"The River" is the first Albisoft game built on our 3D engine. It's a game that doesn't get bogged down by story, reality or environmental constraints. The emphasis is on dynamic, uncompromising and very fast-paced puzzle gameplay, with an atmosphere somewhere between the Doom/Quake series and automatic shooters. As in any proper action game, the player has several weapons at his disposal, and there are tons of bonuses, exploding barrels, pharmacies and similar gadgets we know from other 3D action games.
