Stranglehold

Description of PC Stranglehold: The main protagonist of the game is, as in the blockbuster Hard Boiled, Inspector Tequila, who is given voice, form and all his movements by the famous actor Chow Yun-Fat (as in the movie). The story this time takes Inspector Tequila to Chicago and Hong-Kong, the two main locations of the game, which, thanks to the Unreal 3 Engine technology and the Havok physics engine, offer an unprecedented level of interaction, especially in terms of destruction.

Everything, or rather any object in a location, can be destroyed, which is the basis of the entire visual show that the game puts on. However, the visual appeal of the game is not only due to the detailed graphics, the interactive game environment and the many effects, but also to John Woo himself, who contributed to the development of the game in several areas (script, choreography, camera).

Rather than a game, the work resembles a continuous action movie, with the protagonist emptying magazines into enemies without interruption while swinging from a chandelier, using moving objects, floating into space, performing rolls, or perhaps using a railing.

As for the story itself, it is, as usual, the moral dilemma of a tough cop with a fragile soul. His ex-wife is kidnapped by the Russian mafia in Chicago. Tequila will be forced to make a huge effort to rescue her, while being careful not to overstep the bounds of the law in the process.
