Praktická ekonomika pro ZŠ a SŠ

The only product on the Czech market of educational software was conceived as a response to the Framework Educational Programme. Practical Economics, by its structure, comprehensively covers the issues of economic reality in the Czech Republic.

The programme is designed to provide students with practical skills in the area of everyday encounters with economic reality.

The programme is divided into 3 parts:

• National Economy, which offers information on the functioning of the state, the economy, the functioning of money, but especially taxes, social issues, state administration and the state budget. Practical examples then teach pupils to calculate their wages, the impact of direct and indirect taxes, social and health insurance;

• banking, where pupils learn how a bank works, what its basic functions are, what services it offers or what interest is. In particular, however, they will have a practical experience of the basic operations they will encounter in real life (payment of a bill, invoice, transfer of funds, calculation of interest, etc., the issue of direct debit, as well as postal operations such as sending registered letters, etc.);

• entrepreneurship, where pupils will learn about the types of companies, the conditions for setting up a business and a trade, their advantages and disadvantages, the basics of entrepreneurial thinking, the concepts of assets, liabilities and debt of a company. Then, in the form of a test, the pupil systematizes the concepts so that he can draw on the acquired knowledge in future practical life.

The educational part of the programme is supplemented by tests and exercises in which the values in the assignment are randomly changed.

The program allows you to classify students by setting your own evaluation criteria for tests and exercises.

The program is primarily intended for primary schools, but it is also a suitable supplement for teaching at lower secondary school levels.
