Pankrác goes into action - this time he is asked for help by Russian scientist Professor Santusov, who is now hiding in Paris from the Russian secret service. He fears his latest invention - a time machine - will be misused, and he believes Pankrác is the only person who can stop the new Russian communists from taking over the world. So our hero must leave sunny Hawaii, where he has been enjoying a well-deserved vacation after rescuing the American president with a CIA agent, and hit the road. But what at first seems like a simple matter quickly turns into a frantic sequence of the most bizarre adventures. For the professor wants to be absolutely certain about his invention, so he convinces Pankrác to use his time machine to travel into the future and see for himself, so to speak.
