Planetary, Lunar, and Stellar Visibility

With this program you can find out when you will be able to observe a star (including the Sun)/planet/Moon. You can choose any place on Earth and a year from the interval 3000 BC to 6000 AD. The program uses a 3-colour diagram to show whether the object will be below the horizon at that time - invisible (blue), above the horizon at the same time as the Sun - invisible (white) or above the horizon and visible (grey).

The program provides a lot of other information such as planet magnitudes, moon phases, solar and lunar eclipses, positions of Jupiter's moons, etc.
