Fifteen is a somewhat misleading name, as the dimensions can be different from a conventional 4x4. The game can be played by both a human and a computer. The program can solve the problem very quickly, but usually does not find a solution with the least number of moves. Still, it usually solves the problem in fewer moves than a human. The program first moves the number 1 to the correct place, then 2, etc. (The last two lines are the hardest to put together.)
