PAS2HTML

This is a very simple program that converts Pascal source texts to HTML. It is suitable if you want to present programs or samples of programs via the WWW. The result looks like this:

• 1 program Greeting;
• 2 const Repeat = 10; {number of repeats}
• 3 var I : Integer;
• 4 begin
• 5 for I := 1 to Opak do
• 6 Writeln ( 'Hello.' );
• 7 end.

The program is not particularly intelligent. It expects the source code to be formatted as is usual for Pascal source code (see the source text of our example). It merely tries to preserve the formatting as much as possible while applying the usual typographic conventions (keywords in bold, identifiers in italics).
