A series of strange earthquakes destroys one city after another. Dr. Ambrose Ink - one of the most brilliant minds of the technological revolution - tries to discover the cause of this supernatural phenomenon.

His research takes him to Hochwald: a small highland town near the mysterious castle of the Barber family. However, shortly after his arrival there, he disappears without a trace.

It is then up to Inca's long-time friend and confidante, Agent Evangeline Glass, to rescue the doctor and find out what is causing the earthquakes. With the help of a mechanical raven, she must infiltrate the heavily guarded castle and take on the chief engineer of Gottland.
