Machinarium

Machinarium is an extraordinary 2D adventure game. The graphics are very interesting in that the game is hand-drawn. The sound side adds the right touch to the whole game. This makes it very unusual. The story is told only graphically. Some form of dialogue is conducted using picture bubbles that hover over the main protagonists of the game. These are a group of robots, with the player controlling one of them and only randomly encountering the others.

A little robot has been sent into exile to be scrapped. Players must use logic, collect important items, solve environmental puzzles, and get the robot back to Machinarium City so it can rescue its Robot-friend and defeat the bad guys.
