FlowStone

FlowStone is a combination of graphical and textual programming solutions. You can create your own components using Ruby. The software can be used to cover a wide range of topics and not only in IT. Data recording in science, algebra in mathematics, sound synthesis in music - these are just some of the applications. Applications are programmable by linking functional building blocks (components). Events and data flow between the components to form a real program. When you run such an application, everything is instantaneous - no compilation is performed. The software can communicate with a wide range of external hardware. Support is available for USB devices, I/O cards, webcams and audio hardware. COM ports communication is built on industrial robots and legacy systems. FlowStone allows connection to IP cameras and even other applications running remotely.
