You wake up alone in the dark. Your head is a mess, you remember almost nothing. Where on earth am I? Deep underground? In the dungeons of some castle? An echo brings sounds that frighten you. Something is creaking and breathing. It's moving and it doesn't sound human! The faint light of a lamp is your only support against the terrors locked in the labyrinthine corridors. You run away, but the fear bruises your knees. Something moves in the darkness. Something terrifying. You stagger desperately through the corridors, watching the light slowly burn out. You slam a door behind you. You have no idea how to get out. When the lamp goes out, you'll be a victim of pitch-black darkness. Suddenly, there's a crash. Something is beating furiously on the closed door. Your heart is racing. In a moment, the thing will break in. There's nowhere to run...
The game takes you into the dark corridors of a haunted castle, where there is no way out. Your worst nightmare won't let you wake up. Dozens of miles of cold corridors, darkness and screeching sounds. The only path to possible rescue leads into an even more terrifying darkness, closer and closer to the unknown beast at your heels. You wander through a realm of fear, trying not to succumb to sheer terror.
