This program will definitely come in handy if you are shopping for expensive items such as electronics. The program keeps track of the time remaining before the warranty expires, as well as clearly displays how long you've had the item. This allows you to pull up a clear list of the items' lifespan over time. The records can be sorted, searched and clearly printed. You can also assign any attachment files to the items. By activating warranty watch, the program will run with Windows and alert you to items before the warranty expires. The program uses a modern compact SDF database working with the help of Microsoft's SQL Server Compact service, which is free of charge. Legacy databases can be imported.

In the Pro version, which you can try out for two months (after which you can continue with the freeware version), you have additional fields for information on warranty items, which can be freely named. Unnecessary columns can be hidden. You can filter the entries. You can manage multiple databases, have them automatically backed up or synchronized using the cloud (local installation) DropBox, GoogleDrive and OneDrive. Multiple users can work with a database file at once. This means that you can place the database on a server, for example, where other users can access it. You can restrict not only access to the database, but also the right to edit records. The pro version also includes an edit table where you can edit records in bulk like an excel spreadsheet.

When you first start the program, the Trial version is active, which you can try for two months, after which the program switches itself to the Freeware version. The license option can be found under the Registration button, where you can conveniently send a request for the PRO version.

At the beginning you can choose a password for the database SDF file, which will then contain the databases you define. Multiple users can work with the database file at the same time, the currently edited database will be locked for others.

In the main window, you will see a button bar that you can use to start adding records by selecting Edit. The toggle buttons Not Expired, Expired, All are used to display records sorted by time to warranty expiration. However, you can use the Sort button to toggle sorting by elapsed time since purchase of the item. By right-clicking on Databases, you can quickly switch between databases.
