Začešti

 

Začešti is a macro for Word 97, 2000 and XP that converts Czech text without diacritics to text with diacritics (adds commas and commas to text without them). It uses the spell check dictionaries included in Microsoft Office for the conversion. If it finds a word to which the diacritic can be assigned in several different ways, it offers the user a choice. This selection is ranked according to the probability of occurrence of the word obtained from the PDT data. If it does not find any correct assignment of the diacritic, it allows the user to assign it manually. The program also includes a macro that converts accented text to unaccented text.
