WiSE - Wireless Security

By using WiSE - Wireless Security you will be able to securely and easily monitor your wireless network and prevent unauthorized clients from accessing your private Wi-Fi network.

In Windows XP SP2 you need to have the Wireless LAN API package installed! It works on all available network cards and access points (APs). The program is independent of the Internet connectivity of the wireless network (also works on the intranet).

Minimally loads the network and computer even when downloading large amounts of data at high speed. Automatically detects the suitability of the encryption used on the network. Offers automatic selection of the adapter used as well as automatic selection of the appropriate network adapter used.

Recommendations in case of startup problems: If the program reports "Program service.exe stopped working.." or stops initializing at 33% after starting, it is advisable to try the following procedures:

1. When installing on Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems in the 'Program Files' folder, it may be necessary to run the program as an administrator - this applies to systems with User Account Control (UAC) enabled.
2. Set compatibility mode to 'Windows SP3'. The compatibility mode is changed in the properties of the program shortcut in the compatibility tab.
