WinProxy

WinProxy is a 32-bit application implementing a Firewall / Proxy server and Mail Server. Configuration is easy and can be done remotely over the WWW. WinProxy supports most popular Internet protocols (services).

Supported protocols are:

• HTTP (WWW)
• HTTPS (SSL)
• FTP
• Telnet
• NNTP
• SMTP
• POP3
• Real Audio
• Mapped Links
• SOCKS
• GOPHER

Also WinProxy allows:

• Save data arriving via HTTP, FTP, and GOPHER protocols to a shared cache
• Create a dial-up connection remotely over the WWW or automatically on request
• Manage users and groups
• Limit access to selected URLs
• Log access information
• Cascade sorting
• Monitor cache usage statistics and other information over the WWW.
• Under Windows NT, WinProxy can be run as a service.
• Antiviral scanning of sent and received mail using the MailScan add-on program
