WatchDog

WatchDog is a powerful tool that monitors how employees use and handle corporate information technology. WatchDog will provide you with data and insight for further IT investment decisions, but it will also help protect company assets and provide data for HR audits.

Single PCs included in the monitoring and networked together store data online in a database. The contents of the database can be accessed in real time according to the assigned rights and thus obtain an up-to-date overview of a given group of stations or individual PCs. According to the settings, the monitoring outputs of a station can also be accessible to its user.

With regard to ethical rules, WatchDog ensures privacy by not storing passwords or other sensitive data, monitoring the content of communications, or recording keystrokes or mouse cursor movements. In accordance with these rules, it only records the servers visited and not the details of individual sites.
WatchDog monitors incessantly, but never peeks where employees might be uncomfortable.

A sophisticated statistics system with an emphasis on sober and direct content display. Of course, there is a choice between several types of reports (tables, charts) with the option to display data for selected or even predefined groups and users.

The installation is guided by a wizard included in the program and does not require any specialist knowledge.
