Wammu

Wammu is a phone management program running on Linux, Windows and probably other platforms running Gammu and wxPython. Communication with the phone is handled by the Gammu library. Supported features:

• Complete support (read, write, delete, copy) for contacts, tasks, calendar
• can read, create, send and backup SMS
• multipart SMS creation (currently only text and predefined animations and sounds are supported)
• can display SMS including images and play melodies
• support for backup and import (vCard, vCalendar, custom Gammu format, etc.)
• export messages to mail (to IMAP4, maildir or mailbox)
• phone search
• translated into many languages, including English
