Vietcong 2

The story of Vietcong 2 takes place in 1968, when the North Vietnamese army launched a strong offensive near the city of Hue. In the missions, players will be able to relive everything as remembered by the Special Forces and other US Army soldiers who were present in the city during the offensive.
The player will take on the role of an American captain who has to provide protection to a war correspondent during a truce negotiated for the traditional New Year celebrations. In the same role, he will then go through the entire Tet Offensive at 14 different locations, and will also complete the final assault on the Imperial Palace and the recapture of the city of Hue.
The game will also feature a chance to try out a campaign as a young Viet Cong member fighting against the South Vietnamese army in the rice paddies and jungles around his village, who is eventually promoted to sergeant and takes part in the assault on the Imperial Palace at the start of the Tet Offensive.
