TreeSize Free

TreeSize Free can be launched from a context menu, folder or drive and will display the size of that folder, including its subfolders. Large folders can be marked in a cube due to the transition shown in the background.

Column thumbnails provide more detailed information for each file and folder. Here you will find the size or number of files, as well as the last accessed date and owner (and other useful information).

TreeSize Free works on the MFT (Master File Table) and achieves extremely high scanning speeds. Scan operations run in a thread, so you'll see results almost instantly, while TreeSize Free runs in the background. Contextual Explorer menus and drag & drop operations are supported within the application.

With TreeSize Free, you can view NTFS compression ratios and apply compression to NTFS directories.

Use TreeSize Free as an administrator to calculate the size of all folders - even directories for which you do not have access permissions. Since the contents of the files will not be automatically read during this process, Windows security and privacy remains guaranteed.
