Total Commander

Total Commander - a file manager with many features and options that do not get in the way of the user, so it appears very simple even for inexperienced users. Total Commander Includes FTP client, works with ZIP, RAR, GZ, ARJ, LZH, UC2, CAB, TAR, ACE archives. It has sophisticated file searching, directory comparison, its own Lister file viewer that will display RTF files, play MP3 or AVI files, or display BMP images.

• Full Unicode support in most features where possible, including FTP, ZIP packer, and plugin interface
• Help file now defaults to HTML (CHM) format. Old HLP file is still available online
• Support for file names longer than 259 characters (up to 1022) in most file operations
• Current directories above file lists can function as a click bar
• Protect stored ftp passwords with AES256 encrypted master password
• Start Lister, compare by content or sync folders directly using command line parameters
• Comments (Ctrl + Z) can now be max. 4095 characters long
• Folder synchronization: Possibility to synchronize also empty folders, possibility to copy only a specific file with a property (e.g. time)
• On 64-bit Windows, allow to use 64-bit shell extensions in the local menu (context menus)
• Copy files and directories to multiple target directories (lnk files or directory pointers) in one operation
• Quick search window: Show button that allows to show only files/dirs matching the filter
• New internal association system, e.g. for using Total Commander from a USB stick
