Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006 continues the tradition of great railroad simulators from the developer Auran. The latest installment, formerly known as Engineers Edition, brings the virtual simulation a little closer to running a real railroad. In TRS2006 there are a number of already created railways and many types of activities that the user can try out immediately. In particular, the physics engine has been modified, so the player faces an additional challenge in terms of operational efficiency. A new utility for downloading add-ons from the Download Station has been added, helping to keep track of them and also edit them. Even the tools for creating your own railroad and the rules that will govern it have been changed and improved in many ways to make it more enjoyable to use while allowing for more flexibility.
