Need for Speed: Underground 2 is the sequel to the Electronic Arts racing hit NFS: Underground. It is based on the same engine as the previous installment, but offers many more special effects, more detailed environments and vehicles. A significant change is the abandonment of the race sequence concept and the transition to a system that gives the player more freedom and custom race selection.
