What is it good for? Programs written under MS-DOS always send output to the printer only in character mode, and programs written under Windows always send output in graphics mode. There is no problem with printers that support both print modes. Some printers, however, only support printing in graphics mode, and here a conversion must be made. In addition, the manager can be used to send print output from DOS programs directly to a fax machine. When selecting a printer, just select the Fax device. The print manager also allows you to insert arbitrary images (for example, your company logo) into print reports.
