Stuctural description:
Print Monitor is a service designed to monitor prints on local printers. It is particularly useful where there is a need to centrally monitor printer utilization, paper consumption, etc.
How does it work?
Print Monitor runs on the PC as a system service and monitors the print queues of the printers and records them in a text log (print_log.txt). The log can then be processed directly or sent to an FTP server, HTTP server, SMTP mail or directly to a database using plugins. It is possible to add special plugins according to requirements.
