Solid Automator

Solid Automator monitors the contents of defined source folders and automates the conversion of files in those folders using predefined settings. The program enables automatic conversion of graphic files to PDF, PDF/A validation, PDF to PDF/A conversion.

Archiving with PDF/A:

Convert graphics to PDF:Convert your graphic files to archiveable PDF/A-1b documents that are fully searchable.

PDF to PDF/A conversion: Convert your existing PDF documents (regular or scanned) to ISO 19005-1 compliant PDF/A-1b documents that can be reliably archived and searched.

OCR for Search: Apply OCR (Optical Character Recognition) to scanned documents to create a text layer for easy indexing and text searchability.

Solid OCR: Support for 13 languages (English, Danish, Finnish, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish).

MS Office OCR: requires Microsoft Office Document Imaging + spell checker installed, including OCR module, for the respective language.
PDF/A Validation: verify that your existing PDF files conform to ISO 19005-1, ISO 19005-2 and are therefore suitable for archiving.
