SmoothVideo Project is a utility that lets you watch movies on your computer using frame interpolation, a feature available on high-end TVs and projectors. Frame interpolation increases the number of video frames per second by artificially creating intermediate frames. SVP makes this technology available to everyone as freeware. Installing SVP is simple, in addition to the normal installation options SVP offers to install the SVPtube utility (to make SVP tools available for YouTube and Vimeo videos as well) and install MadVR, a high quality video renderer. It will then offer to install additional software needed for the program to function properly, specifically MS Visual C++, AviSynth, FFDShow and ReClock.
