Smartřády

The Smartrides application is an application that allows you to search for connections in public transport timetables on Windows Mobile devices. The search is completely offline directly on the mobile device, so no internet connection is needed. The timetable data comes from the Czech IDOS system and the Slovak Cestovné poriadky system. The creation of the data files, including their regular updates, is ensured directly by the employees of the cooperating companies Chaps spol. s r.o. and Inprop respectively. s.r.o.

The smartcards also offer, among other things:

• A clearer user interface and more comfortable control of the application compared to using the IDOS portal on Windows Mobile devices.
• No data transfers when searching for a connection, thus independence from the constant availability of the server.
• Wide possibilities of setting up the application, presence of additional additional functions (updating data directly from the application environment, finding out the current train delay...).

Application price
The Smartlines app itself is available for free in the Downloads section. An annual license fee is required for the data files:

• Czech Republic timetables from Chaps s.r.o. - 350 CZK per chart (December 2009 - December 2010)
• Slovak Republic timetables from Inprop s.r.o. - EUR 12.60 per chart (December 2009 - December 2010)
• The Trains SK data file is available for free download, or is available after installing the Smartlines application and selecting the Slovak language during the installation process.
