The system was primarily designed for Windows Mobile and touchscreen devices, but only shared components were used to reach the largest possible group of users.

Because the field application's potential for use is much greater and the concept of having a supporting application was ultimately not an option, we decided to create an expanded version of the program to encompass the expanded potential of the Windows Mobile 5 and higher handheld platform.
