Remote Desktop Assistant

Remote Desktop Assistant is an add-on program for Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection. It creates RDP configuration files and uses the remote desktop client (mstsc.exe) to create connections.

The program combines ping and monitor port monitoring features, while allowing you to wake up a PC using the Wake-On-LAN magic packet.

Make more remote desktop connections and configure more RDP file parameters than Microsoft's Remote Desktop Client.

Remote Desktop Assistant checks the status of the remote RDP port and sends ICMP pings to remote computers. If your remote computers are configured to receive Wake-On-LAN packets, this software can enable them remotely. The Remote Desktop Assistant installer includes additional tools: a Wake-On-LAN Listener, an RDP port configuration utility, and a Windows shutdown utility,
